GWI Software announces the upcoming release of iSupport Version 15, a web-based help desk software solution powerful and flexible enough to accommodate service desks of varying size and process requirements.
Change Management Functionality
Building on a core set of Incident Management functionality that has been continually refined since 1992, iSupport Version 15 now includes Change Management functionality for tracking alterations to service and physical assets and ensuring that standard methods and procedures are used to efficiently handle changes.
New change-related features include approvals, associated assets and incidents, routing, custom fields, audit history, and fields for important dates, risk assessment, back-out plans, and related charges.
New Name, Same Tradition of Excellence
iSupport Version 15 also marks a break from GWI Software's traditional naming protocol of "c.Support." The new product name is more intuitive and helps differentiate between GWI's versions for the IBM platform versus the Microsoft platform.
